Mead is one of the world’s oldest alcoholic beverages. Brewed through the fermentation of honey, it is an extremely versatile drink that comes in a huge variety of strengths, sweetness levels and flavours.

Founded in 2012, Rogue Trading was and remains a small mead-trading business focusing on tracking down and showcasing some of the many different ways in which mead can be brewed and served.

By locating small producers and learning about the distinct methods and local honeys that they use to make their meads, the hope is to make the unique qualities and flavours of mead more understandable and accessible to people, as well as draw public attention to the products of these smaller craft brewers.
