Description

Nevermore is made by fermenting honey along with maple syrup and is blended with black tea and chai spices (ginger, green cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, fennel, peppercorns and cloves). Surprisingly light and delicate for a spiced mead, it nevertheless manages to convey a pleasant warmth and aroma. Best served gently warmed in a goblet with perhaps a spiced biscuit or warm pudding alongside. Comfy surroundings not necessary, but strongly encouraged.

Apothecary Mead is a very small mead producer based in Nottinghamshire. All of their meads are made in very small batches using British honey, and their fondness for eldritch styles is only exceeded by their skill in concocting elaborate and complex flavours.
