Description
As the name suggests, this is Apothecary Mead’s signature mead, a traditional pure honey mead made with raw Nottinghamshire honey. The honey is strongly influenced by Lime (aka. Linden), Sweet chestnut, and Hawthorn blossoms. The result, as the name suggests, is very characteristic mead with a noticable aroma that ranges somewhere between woody and citrussy and has been likened to sandalwood. This strong flavour means that a small amount goes a long way, and it is probably best served at room temperature in a port glass or smaller.
Apothecary Mead is a very small mead producer based in Nottinghamshire. All of their meads are made in very small batches using British honey, and their fondness for eldritch styles is only exceeded by their skill in concocting elaborate and complex flavours.
