Hive Mind’s Traditional Mead is a pure honey mead made with honey from their own hives in the Wye Valley. Rich in flavour, the sweetness is balanced by strong heathery and floral aromas. While best served in a small wine glass or a port glass, the Traditional mead is juuuust light and aromatic enough to be served chilled as a dessert wine, although the cool freshness would come at the cost of some of the aroma.

Hive Mind is a small meadery in southern Wales founded by two brothers, Matt and Kit. They specialise in a mix of traditional and lighter sparkling meads and braggots using purely UK honeys in addition to honey from their own hives. Their meads tend to emphasize flavours and aromatics over heavy sweetness, and their aim is to demonstrate the versatility and eco-friendliness of mead and honey in general.
